Psalm CXXIX and Responsory for the faithful departed in the Mozarabic rite

OUT of the depths I have cried unto thee, O Lord: Lord hear my voice.

2. Let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.

3. If thou, O Lord, shalt observe iniquities, Lord, who shall endure it?

4. For with thee there is merciful forgiveness: and by reason of thy law I have waited for thee, O Lord          

5. My soul hath relied on his word; my soul hath hoped in the Lord.

6. From the morning watch even until night, let Israel hope in the Lord.

7. Because with the Lord there is mercy; and with him plentiful redemption.

8. And he shall redeem Israel from all his ini­quities.    

V. Eternal rest give unto them, O Lord.

R. And let perpetual light shine upon them.

The spirits of just men made perfect in Thy quickening Spirit Father in Thou Only Son Jesus Christ Our Lord and Saviour their souls gathered into Thy bosom Lord

Bless Thy faithful departed especially our parents and children and our faithful departed kinsmen after the flesh O Lord God Our Father and the Son Jesus Christ Our Lord and Saviour and the Holy Spirit our Paraclete in Thy bosom unceasingly with and by the prayer and company of all Thy elect angels and saints for and with unceasingly and thereby let perpetual Light shine upon them, may they rest in peace unto the first resurrection of the just at Thy Parousia Christ Jesus Our Only Lord and Saviour whence Thou shall return in the glory of the Father in the same flesh as Thou camest first in the unity and power and bond of love of the Holy Spirit our Paraclete, at that time our same spirits, souls and bodies reunited worshipping Thou face to face in Thy holiness and glory with all Thy elect angels and saints in this Thy recreated universe in the future at that time known to Thou alone Thrice Holy Lord God Pantocrator unto the endless ages of ages to come by Thy most Holy Cross, Holy Blood, Holy Spirit of the Father and the Son, Jesus Christ Our Lord and Saviour the only first born from the dead in the flesh the only one Resurrected Ascended Assumed Bodily in the flesh into the third heaven and who sitteth upon the right hand of God Our Father in the unity and power and bond of love of the Holy Spirit our Paraclete Holy Holy Holy Lord God Pantocrator with and by the prayer and company of all Thine elect angels and saints for and with us unceasingly and now and always and unto the endless ages of ages to come.

And blesss all your faithful throughout the earth Jesus Christ Our Only Lord and Saviour, Mediator and Priest in the Flesh between God and man in the Unity and Power and bond of love of the Holy Spirit our Paraclete in Your Name Alone Baruch Adonai Yahweh El Olam eth Abba Our Father and the Son Jesus Christ Our Only Lord and Saviour and Good Shepherd and the Holy Spirit our Paraclete with and by the prayer and company of the same all Your elect Angels and Saints for and with us unceasingly with all thanksgiving, we love You for You first loved us, with all thanksgiving bless us unceasingly especially all the innocent all the little children all Your persecuted Church all Your poor and needy and all Your lost sheep, for Your sheep hear Your voice and confess you from the heart with the mouth doing Your will in our word and deed in all things at all times most swiftly and no other, especially those in the worst of distress, especially those who have no one to pray for or with them, unto all salvation eternal and temporal most swiftly and have us do the same for the sake of Your Most Holy Name without fee or reward for ourselves in our word and deed unceasingly and now and always and unto the endless ages of ages to come.
